As a fully automatic vertical storage carousel, this systems demonstrates the principle of ”goods to the operator” in a perfectly manner.

Smooth outer panels conceal rugged and powerful tray units that are attached to vertical circulating chains. Under computer control, the trays move precisely to the storage/retrieval hatches. The integrated route optimization guarantees minimum access times.

That's what transparency means: all parts move past the operators view, whilst the requested part is being fetched. Due to this clarity, this system can even be operated without centralized stock management. Stocks are then managed "on sight”.

SPECIFICATION

FRAME: Tough shell, rugged interior: the singlepiece side frames are completely welded. Distance frames and supports are bolted firmly to the side frames. This even allows the units to be moved in one piece. A highquality powder coating increases service life. The unit's main structural support comes from the robust chain guides, which transfers the entire load to the floor via the frame.

CHAIN GUIDES: The robust, encapsulated transport chains move in guide channels at each side of the frame.

MULTI-PURPOSE CARRIERS: Strong, stiff, and flexible in use. A folded metal casing with half sided lid is welded to the side panels. Two additional U profiles provide the necessary torsional and bending stiffness. A standard feature of the carriers is the universal grid of indexing holes that makes them ready for all application requirements.

CARRIER ARM ASSEMBLIES: The carriers are attached to the transport/roller chain by means of a system with four variable supporting arms. The chain itself has a 7-fold dynamic protection against breaking. An additional roller lever ensures that the carriers always remain horizontal and provides extra support.
