Times-2 (or as its sometimes called x5 or Kardex units)is a high density, double-sided filing system simply operated by the use of a foot pedal. The inner cube has 2 usable sides which rotate on a fixed base.

The operator is able to access these from one side.Without doors or shutters, units offer efficient use of floor space by sitting close to walls or screens

Times-2, when positioned next to walls or partitions, increases both capacity and access to stored information.

Capacity will increase from a minimum of 40% to a maximum of 200% growth. Faster retrieval times are standard with Times-2.

50% of all documents are immediately available to the operator.The other half is only a gentle rotation away.To allow for full rotation of Times-2, a rotation space must be designed into the plan.

The rotation space can be concealed with the addition of a wall closing strip, and at the top with the addition of an extended canopy.
